Rock Legend

It seems like lately this phrase has been getting allot of attention, and i think that sometimes the people who have acquired this status have forgotten what the meaning of this so called crown is all about. They think that by having been part of a group or solo means that has been around for a long time and have inspired other artists or have started a certain music style that they should be giving the authority to take on the title of Rock Legend.

But i think that while they are at home playing the newest version of Rock Legend with their friends or family with this grin about a mile wide on their face, That if you walk the walk, you have to talk the talk. And that having ego problems with people involved they are setting aside the fact that there is much more involved in taken this title.
History shows that most Artists that break away from the main nucleus that they started with and go off and do other projects never do any good and always return after a while anyway, just because you think that since you have already been given the title for the style of music that you started with doesn't mean you can fit in else were so why even bother?

Since way back when i first heard of the phrase, it was basically used for people that had been in the business and had passed on, but as the years went on they started using it on people in the Music industry that had been around a long time and had contributed in a big way towards the making of the Rock and Roll sound. I think that because the turn over of Rock Musicians could not keep up with the first intention of the word.

But i think that they got to understand is they can't forget about the people who helped them get to where they are today and who also look up to them as being Rock Legends. their fans. They got to understand that how bad things are today and with all the mental torture being put on our brains that every now and then that we need to connect with them . I know that you can hear them everyday on the radio or by compact disc but it all ways was like some kind of religious experience seeing them perform live. A once in a year release.

Its true that almost all of the people that have been giving this honor do stay true to the meaning of it all, i just wish that the ones who do not would stop thinking about themselves and start think about the people whose minds you sooth with the thoughts you have giving us and get the show on the road before its to late.
